OPERATION: FALAFEL

[UPDATED]: For those of you interested in participating in OPERATION: FALAFEL, I've added all of the radio stations that carry O'Reilly and have websites in the Extended Section.

[UPDATED]: O'Reilly responds to the shitstorm that swirls about him -- and of course makes himself out to be an even bigger jerk than he was before. Text of his response is in the Extended Section.

As many here and in other blogs have noted, Bill O'Reilly crossed the line by endorsing an al Qaeda terrorist attack against the United States of America.

It is time to do to Bill O'Reilly what the blogosphere successfully did to the Sinclair Broadcast Group - hit 'em in the wallet.  We must notify O'Reilly's sponsors that they are, in fact, sponsoring a radio program that has stated its support of a terrorist attack against the United States.

In the Extended Body I have contact information for the corporate sponsors of The Radio Factor, and a copy of the email that I sent them.

Just got back from work and I see that this is Recommended. I have gone through the comments and there have been so many good suggestions that I am just going to create a new diary altogether. I will work with the following suggestions:

*** Use SurveyUSA's pre-election approval ratings for the original material instead of the 2004 election results, as I am comparing apples and oranges since the two data sources are not equivalent.
*** Make sure the Wisconsin numbers are correct ;)
*** Not just create a "points" differential, but use the formula "VRI = 100 * ( BushVote - BushApproval ) / BushVote" (thanks to MarkInSanFran for that)
*** Use xeju's suggestion of dividing the Bush vote by the VRI to get disatisfied Bush voters.

I'm just a guy with Excel and a little knowledge :) Hopefully I can work out a meaningful piece of data which shows how badly America feels that it has been deceived by this Administration
